Illustration of the digital divide

Digital experiences amplify privilege.

A new digital divide separates tech-savvy users from those who struggle to navigate the tools we use for vital services like education, finance, and healthcare.

If you can’t interact with the digital world, you can’t access your basic human rights.

Our digital future demands experiences that are easy to use.

Every organization is responsible for the products and experiences they publish. Yet we keep leaving people behind. Experiences need to become more inclusive. At scale.

Our work accelerates the intersection of human experience and emerging technologies to bridge the digital experience divide.

Our roadmap has three core phases:
01.
Tools and certifications for experience equity

Every organization that creates websites, apps, and digital tools has a responsibility to create more equitable experiences online. The goal is to provide tools to help teams design inclusive experiences and certification programs to help organizations earn trust with users.

02.
Experience design transformation and research

This work aims to provide organizations support in redefining experience and design programs, leveraging new technologies and methods to create social impact. Research and analysis of emerging experience tools will allow organizations to plan and manage new investments.

03.
Open source software tools for experience automation

Many organizations are already adopting automation tools to radically simplify the creation of digital experiences and front-end design. An open-source approach for tools and standard APIs will allow for integration between products and platforms across digital ecosystems.
